ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
EMILY LUCARZ
Emily Lucarz is a newborn and family photographer located in St. Louis Missouri. She began her career, like many photographers, after the birth of her first child in 2009. Known for her happy personality and extreme patience with children, she has quickly become the most sought after family photographer in her area, booking consistently almost a year in advance. Emily credits her love of people and outgoing personality to help her business grow the way it has.
In 2015, Emily was voted by Beyond the Wanderlust as the “best Midwest portrait photographer” in the newborn and family category. She was also categorized in the top 50 most inspiring photographers by Beauty Revived. Her work and studio can be seen in Click and Mozi magazines and she was recently published in “Capture the Moment”, which is sold on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. She teaches both newborn and family lifestyle workshops as well as creates and sells Photoshop actions and Lightroom Presets.
On a personal note, Emily has two young boys who teach her daily about life. Connection is at the forefront of all of Emily’s work and her children are her main inspiration. Emily’s husband, Ken, runs the business side of things (everything from bookings to finances), which has allowed Emily to have a more balanced life.
