An inability to draw doesn’t make storyboarding obsolete – no matter how simplistic and basic your stick figures are, you can still use storyboards as a guiding blueprint for your production. In Storyboarding Your Film with Chris Prynoski, Christy Karacas, Chris Prynoski will show you how to develop simple, effective storyboards which allow you to tackle all kinds of filmmaking challenges.
Chris has used storyboards to develop his best-known works including, Metalocalypse, Freaknik: The Musical, and Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. In this class, he’ll teach you how to use the basic tool of storyboarding to deconstruct a scene or sequence and how to implement the storyboard as a useful aid for both camera and crew.

CHRIS PRYNOSKI
Chris Prynoski is an animator, director, and producer who began on shows such as MTVs Beavis and Butthead and Daria in the early 90s. In 2000, his show MTV Downtown earned him an Emmy nomination. In 2004, Prynoski founded the animation studio Titmouse, Inc, where he has continued his string of hits with projects like China, IL, Metalocalypse, Black Dynamite, Superjail!, The Venture Bros., Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja and his own creation, Motorcity for Disney XD. He is currently Executive Producing a number of shows, including Turbo FAST, the first DreamWorks Animation series produced for Netflix.
CHRISTY KARACAS
Christy Karacas studied film and animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. His work has been shown in festivals and screenings around the world including the Annecy International Film Festival, Ottawa International Film Festival, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Deitch Projects, Galleri Loyal, Tribecca Film Festival, MTV’s ‘Cartoon Sushi’, Cartoon Network, Vice and Playboy Magazine. He created and directs ‘Superjail!’ on Adult Swim.
