At the time I was in Canada and stuck in traffic while driving to a family dinner. My phone was in my pocket buzzing like crazy. When I finally pulled over to see who it was?
It was all my affiliates, fighting, like 6 year olds at recess.

- “No, you promised me.”
- “Anik! Tell him you’re promoting me.”
- “You only drove 145 clicks and I sent you 2,000+ clicks!”

I looked at my wife and just said “I quit.”
I was done with affiliates. It was December of 2016, I was burned out. I needed to find a different way. And, I did.
Paid Traffic.
But…
Paid traffic means…paying.
So, quickly, I had to figure out how to create offers that could convert fast on paid traffic. If I didn’t make the revenue back fast, how could I scale ads?
And, that was when I found…

Fast-forward to 2023 and I’m now helping hundreds of information businesses and online entrepreneurs.
Not beginners either. I’m talking about the “big guys.”
Most were pulling in 7-figures a year. But some of them were 8-figure businesses too. These businesses were established and by all accounts had it “figured out.”
But time and again, there was ONE thing that they all seemed to lack.
Self-Liquidating Offers.
I found myself asking WHY it seems I can scale businesses in our world so easily and fast. I mean, I had 8-figure a year entrepreneurs asking me how to scale their businesses even more.
I racked my brain for months.
Finally, it clicked.
It was my ability to build offers that can immediately go to paid traffic – aka Self Liquidating Offers (SLOs). I realized then that this was the key to controlling your destiny and building a scalable business.
I’d been doing it for YEARS, but it finally dawned on me that this was my true “Super Power” as a digital marketer and entrepreneur.
What exactly is a self-liquidating offer (SLO)?
A Self-Liquidating Offer is a product or service that pays for its own advertising costs.
No – that’s not meant to be an earnings claim. It simply means that the offer is designed to offset (or mostly offset) the cost it takes to acquire the new customer. Are 100% of offers self-liquidating? Of course not. It takes many factors to become self-liquidating, but these offers are built with that goal in mind.
SLOs are one of the most powerful tools that online entrepreneurs have in their arsenal. With an SLO, the aim is to quickly generate new leads and convert them into paying customers.
Think of it this way.
If you spend $35 acquiring every new customer, the customer needs to spend $35 in your funnel (or close to it) for the offer to be considered self-liquidating.
But here’s the deal…
Even if an offer DOES NOT cover 100% of the ad spend, it’s still better in my mind.
Why?
Because when done right, you’re able to get BUYING customers that can continue buying and upgrading to your other higher-ticket offers.
Technically it’s possible to do that with “free leads,” but it is so much harder.
So what’s the key to making this happen? It all comes down to the 4 main components every SLO needs…

Component #1 – An Irresistible Offer
Not a “good” offer. Not a “great” offer. You need a truly irresistible offer that is a no-brainer for your target audience.
It has to be at the right price point that people buy without friction and it needs to solve a significant problem for your audience.
