Week 1 starts with a critical and often overlooked topic: your story. Have you ever really looked at how the stories you tell yourself about your life impacts how you live it?
Stories like:
âIâm not the kind of person who gets what I want,â âI donât deserve to have a better life,â and âI canât make changes because it feels too uncomfortable.â
And then you wonder why youâre not getting what you want, why you donât have a better life, and why you canât make changes stickâŚ? You might already be aware of some of these stories, but Iâll show you how to uncover the unconscious beliefs that have created stories you might not be aware of but that are creating undesired results in your life.
Itâs time for a ârewrite,â and thatâs exactly what this module will help you do. Iâll also show you a technique so life-changing it should be taught in schools. Weâll also explore the first law of the spirit, acceptance, and examples of how you can move away from festering in a place of judgment to thriving in a place of acceptance and self-love. At the end of Module 1, Iâll walk you through your own personal âOver It & On With Itâ assessment, a proven formula for mapping out how to take the first step towards changing your life for the better. Our second week together is all about your feelings âŚ
The world doesnât encourage you to express your feelings openly or fully. You may even have been taught that expressing your emotions is sappy, weak, or a waste of energy.
But we all have emotions â often very strong ones! In fact, trying to suppress or numb your feelings or pretend theyâre not there and impacting you is one of the BIGGEST roadblocks I see people face.
As this module unfolds, youâll be surprised at the power of your own emotions. This power is something weâll revisit in later modules from the perspective of shifting your thinking and behavior.
For now, the focus will be on how to improve your understanding and relationship with your own feelings. And Iâll be right there with you as you dive in.
Youâll learn why F.I.N.E. isnât actually a very good state of being. You deserve so much better!
Youâll also learn about suppression, expression, recycling, and release of your emotions (and why being a âsurferâ can actually be very beneficial to you once you know how to do it).
Iâll challenge you to explore your coping strategies. Do they really work for you? Do they hold you in place or let you move forward? Do you avoid the raw power of your emotions? (IMPORTANT: I will be by your side as you do this, every step of the way.)
