I’ve got some good news…

SEO isn’t dead.

And anyone saying it is, hasn’t got a clue what they’re talking about.

Thankfully, you’re smart enough to know that already, hence why you’re reading this today.

But I have to admit…

It IS more difficult than it ever has been. I agree.

You can’t just point a few exact match anchor text links at your site anymore. That’ll only get you hit by Penguin.

And you can’t even have 2 pages covering the same topic without risking “topic duplication”.

But “create quality content”, and all that nonsense Google advises you… that isn’t going to do a thing for you.

So let’s cut the crap:

If you want to rank today, following Google’s rules does not work.

Try it for yourself if you disagree.

What  Works Is Understanding The Algorithm
Think about it:

If you had a list in front of you of every factor Google used to determine your rankings, you could literally rank for anything.

All you would have to do is look at the factors…

Check them off 1-by-1 as you go through it…

And bam, you’re ranking.

Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. Google keep that locked down, and for a good reason.

The organic results would be terrible, if it were that easy to game.

So how do you figure out what factors are required to rank?

You Test Things
And you test a lot.

And if you can’t test yet, you learn what you can, then you test that.

See, these tests help you to…

Deconstruct The Algorithm
“Do social profile links help me rank higher?”
“What happens if I setup IFTTT syndication?”
“Does anything change if I build my links slower/faster?”

These can all be answered by running tests.

And when you’ve ran enough tests, and ranked enough websites, it’s no longer “luck” or “chance” whether you’re successful…

Ranking Becomes a Science
It comes down to whether you have enough time and money to dominate a keyword, nothing else.

Skill isn’t a barrier to entry because you understand the algorithm.

You know exactly what it takes to rank, for anything.

So when a client comes knocking on your door to work with them, there’s no fear of not delivering, or hesitance, it’s just certainty…

“I CAN DO THIS FOR YOU”
That’s how you close deals.

Or if you’re into affiliate SEO.

It’s no longer about whether you can make money, it’s whether you’ll make enough money to justify the effort.

You can rank either way, it just comes down to selecting the right niches and the right offers.

Becoming an SEO Expert
Not a “I was featured on a $25 press release posted on subpar news sites, and I’ll do your SEO for you for $300/month” type expert.

A blackbelt of SEO.
An expert that can rank for any keyword they like, given the time and budget.

Do enough testing, and you’ll get there. I guarantee it.

But if you’re serious about owning that skill, there is a faster way…

Testing is SLOW
See, testing comes down to learning new things, piecing them together, and then running the tests.

This works, just very slowly.

First you’ve got to become proficient at something, say PBNs.

Then you’ve got to come up with ideas for the tests.

“Does YouTube videos and multimedia on PBN sites change anything?”

Then you’ve got to run the test with a large enough sample size that the results are accurate.

It’s not something you can do in the next 30 days. Especially for every part of your ranking process.

But here’s the good news:

I cheated.

Someone offered me money to do it for them. And I was broke.

So despite knowing nothing about SEO, or how to do it, I took the money.

Before rushing to Google to search “how to do SEO”.

If you’ve done that search, you’ll know it’s full of BS.

“Just create quality content”

Or maybe you’ll find some outdated articles explaining how to use social bookmarks and blog comments. Yikes.

Fortunately for me, I came across a training course that changed everything.

It was a little known course that taught the idea of “Private Blog Networks”

They literally deconstructed rankings for me, and said:

Do this, then this, then this….. And you’ll rank.

So I tested it on my client that I’d convinced I was an expert.

Just 3 weeks later, they were ranked #1 for their main keyword.

Though I’ll admit, they were already bottom of page 1 when I started.

Still, I was shocked.

That progress was far quicker than anything I could have imagined, and it was controllable.

I didn’t do some things and hope it would work some time in the future.

I followed a step by step plan to make it work.

Which I later used to rank numerous client and affiliate sites.
