- To review the common causes of in-toeing out-toeing in children
- To describe the progression of normal physiologic alignment over time
- How to evaluate children with in-toeing and out-toeing
- To describe the physical examination techniques used in assessing rotational deformities
- Review current treatment options
- To review indications for imaging and/or Orthopedic referral
The Indiana Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 0.75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Dr. Koronkiewicz has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon for over 25 years at Goshen Health. In his current position with Goshen Heath, Dr. Koronkiewicz serves as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, arthritic conditions, and general orthopedic problems. He has been on staff at Goshen Hospital since arriving from the U.S. Air Force in 1993. He has served on many of the hospital committees and has been president of the medical staff, chairman of the medical staff quality committee, medical director of quality, and the physician advisor for utilization review. Recently, he completed a master’s degree in healthcare quality and safety management at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Koronkiewica discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
