Exploring the Essential Features of “David Zemach-Bersin and Raz Ori & Anastasi Siotas – First Things First”
Raz Ori & Anastasi Siotas
Moshe Feldenkrais was adamant: “Improve the person, not their problem.” Although it may sound like a Zen Buddhist koan, Moshe was serious. and It was literally what he meant. It was the core of his success in changing human capabilities. and restoring lost function.
Moshe tells us in this statement that most human problems reflect poor organization. He understood that there is a way of being ‘organized’ This is the optimal condition for human beings. It involves a coordination between our nervous system and skeleton. and musculature. This organization gives us the best possible options for movement or action, support, flexibility, balance, and Nerve system health
This workshop will teach you how to: David Zemach-Bersin will present a foundational and strategic approach to Functional Integration that focuses on the fundamental hierarchy of priorities or conditions that are essential for good organization. As you learn how to implement this strategy in your work, you will discover that the source of the difficulty is often not where the problem or pain is experienced, nor is the solution to be found in treating the difficulty.
If we can effectively improve our student’s organization, the conditions that originally caused or compounded their difficulties will no longer exist. These conditions will make it easier for them to overcome or disappear completely. Moshe was clear in his advice. “Treat the person, not their difficulty.”
David Trainer is very grateful for his assistance. Raz Ori, and Trainer Candidate Anastasi SiotasFor this workshop, please contact us.
