CLASS DESCRIPTION
Improve Your Specific Vision Issues.
If you find yourself squinting at your computer monitor, frequently updating your glasses prescription, or suffering from headaches, this course will help you improve your vision by retraining your brain to better communicate with your eyes.
Dr. Eric Cobb, creator of the Vision Gym, will explain how many vision issues are caused by miscommunication between your eyes and your brain. You’ll learn customizable strategies and exercises that target and improve your specific vision issues. From self-massage to isometric exercises to simple eye chart assessments, you’ll gain an eyesight improvement toolbox that you can implement anywhere and at any time.
ERIC COBB
The creator and co-founder of Z-Health Performance Solutions, LLC, Dr. Eric Cobb is one of the world’s foremost experts in utilizing the neurology of movement to create extraordinary change in the human body. His passion for maximally developing human potential began as a young child, and has continued to grow in depth and intensity through a combination of both his academic studies, and his own athletic development as a tennis player, world-class martial artist, and professional combatives instructor.
A chiropractic physician, Dr Cobb has a degree in human biology and has done extensive post-grad study in a variety of areas, including neurology, neurophysiology, pain management, nutrition and functional medicine, kinesiology, musculoskeletal trauma, and advanced soft tissue techniques. He is a voracious reader and loves to compile his findings from reams of data into practical, applicable information, which he passes on to others. His teaching has been described by students as advanced, articulate, intelligent, funny, and most importantly, ultra-practical.
In regards to performance training, Dr. Cobb views himself as a “neurophysiologic detective,” not willing to work within a confined flowchart of cause and effect, but exploring and discovering the unique key to each athlete’s issues. His greatest passion is helping people realize the power they have to change and then helping them find tools and skills to help them further unlock their potential.
When asked about his work and life, Dr. Cobb often replies with the phrase, “Ancora Imparo.” As legend has it, this phrase was found in the margin of one of Michelangelo’s sketches near the end of his life. It translates as, “Still, I am learning…”
