Greg Recchia
As an Audio Engineer, Producer, Songwriter, Greg Recchia has been inspired by how records are made and how a great song can make you feel. Greg grew up playing guitar, singing and writing songs in a band throughout his high school career. He first found himself in the studio at age 14 and was immediately fascinated by the recording process. From that day on his passion and love for music has been growing stronger everyday.
In 2010, Recchia graduated from SAE Institute Of Technology, NYC, where he studied Audio Engineering. He was then trained by Michael Harmon at Studio Crash in Philadelphia, where he began doing recording sessions with many different artists of different genres such as A Cappella groups, Rock bands, Hip Hop artists and R&B singers. In 2013, Recchia landed a position at the legendary recording studio, Eastside Sound in New York City. He was mentored by the original Owner/Engineer since 1978, Lou Holtzman and Manager/Songwriter Michael Guerriero. There, he learned from Grammy-Award Winning Engineers, Marc Urselli, Fran Cathcart, and Eric Elterman.
Greg Recchia, Multi-Genre Engineer, Producer, Songwriter, draws inspiration from a wide range of music pulling from Classic Rock, Alternative, Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, and Jazz. Greg works with a broad range of different genres. He has worked in the studio with artists such as Mario Winans, Masego, Mishaal Tamer, Idris Elba, Pino Palladino, Irv Gotti, Claudette Ortiz, Steve Shelley, Carl Broemel, Mrs. Smith, Bri Steves and many more. Greg’s focus is on bringing the best out of an artist, building great songs, and bringing sound to life!
