She leads popular Lightroom and photography workshops and is a sought-after speaker at conferences like SXSW, Photo Plus, and ADIM.

Jan loves learning as much as teaching. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University. She has a law degree from Stanford Law School, a Masters degree from University of Toronto, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from University of Colorado at Boulder.
