About the Author
Jane K. Cleland once owned a New Hampshire-based antiques and rare books business. She is the author of eleven Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries, all from St. Martin’s Minotaur and three short stories published by Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. She is also the author of Mastering Suspense, Structure & Plot, a book about the craft of writing, published by Writer’s Digest Books. Jane has been a finalist for the Macavity, Anthony, and Agatha awards and has twice won the David Award for Best Novel.
Jane is the former president of the New York chapter of the Mystery Writers of America and chairs the Wolfe Pack’s Black Orchid Novella Award. She’s a member of the full time faculty at Lehman College, where she is also the Director of the Program for Professional Communications. She lives in New York City.
