Description
Digital therapeutics (DTx) have tremendous potential to increase accessible, scalable, and equitable mental and behavioral health care. In the early development of this field, clinician’s primary interactions with product teams have been as a subject matter expert consultation. However, as the field of DTx expands, there is burgeoning recognition of the potential benefit of greater clinical science involvement in product life cycles to improve patient engagement and outcomes. This changing landscape in product development, however, doesn’t come without challenges. By delving into clinical sciences’ evolving impact in the development of DTx, this talk aims to uncover untapped potential for clinical science to integrate within the product life cycle, while highlighting current challenges and practical tips to navigate this cross-functional role.
