Very Health-Motivating DVD!
This dvd, along with Dr. Fuhrman’s book, “Eat to Live,” motivated me to lose 20 lbs in a month and a half and lower my escalating blood sugar and blood pressure after almost passing out in a restaurant. I didn’t even know that my blood sugar had been spiking that high! After reading all of the success stories about many other people losing hundreds of pounds without starving themselves and after being referred to Dr. Furhman’s books and dvd’s by my primary care doctor, I took the plunge. Over six months later, I have still maintained my new weight and made up my mind not to gain it back for the sake of my health. I look and feel 10 years younger. This dvd makes my mouth water every time I watch it and I feel like running down to Whole Foods to buy those luscious veggies! I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 stars because not everyone can afford to shop at Whole Foods and spring for Dr. Furhman’s salad dressings and other health products; but I go there every once in a while as a treat. Very inspirational!

Most Of It Is Common Sense
I do like this DVD, don’t misunderstand.
If you have already read any of his other material than this is more of the same. I was hoping for something more in depth or different than his ETL book.
I did appreciate his food demonstations for the most part–again it was pretty simple and things the average American already knows. A few foods, like the Artichoke, I would not have thought to even try. It was helpful to see how he prepared it.
Over all, this is a great starter DVD but can be skipped if you have already read his ETL book.
