with Lee Holden
A 30+ Hour Online Course to Help You Cultivate the Flexibility of a Leopard, the Energy of a Child, and the Calm of a Morning Lake
Before Yoga and Qi GongâŠ
Ancient peoples used a specific set of healing exercises to clear energetic blocks out of their bodies.
These healing exercises âtargetâ energetic blocks and âerasesâ them with simple stretches, easy exercises, and specific breathing techniques.
What was the name of this ancient practice?
Tao Yin. (pronounced âdao yinâ)
Tao Yin was discovered from 2,187-year-old cave paintings and
inscriptions on tortoise shells.
But some of the movements from the practice were lost.
Many years ago, Master Mantak Chia hired Lee Holden to write the book on Tao Yin.
They quickly discovered some of the movements were missing. The paintings and inscriptions were incomplete.
So they sought out the Master Teachers who still remembered the ancient practice of Tao Yin.
These teachers were the âLineage Holdersâ of Tao Yin. They received the teachings through generations of instruction from teacher to student.
Lee would study with a master, learn their unique form of Tao Yin, and incorporate the new movements into the Tao Yin book.
And thatâs how the nearly lost practice of Tao Yin was reclaimed.
What is the Ancient Healing Practice of Tao Yin?
Tao Yin is a remarkably simple set of exercises, stretches, and breathing techniques.
The practice helps you conserve your own vital life-force energy (Qi), recycle it through your body, and transform toxic or unbalanced energy into pure positive energy.
The goal of Tao Yin?
To help you become pure, responsive, and full of energy (like a child).
Tao Yin helps you harmonize your Qi, develop strength and flexibility through gently stretching the tendons, and releasing toxins through the breath.
Tao Yin has more âflowâ than yoga, but more âstretchâ than Qi Gong.
A typical Tao Yin exercise involves movement of the arms and body with controlled inhalation and exhalation. Each exercise has a different goal. For example: calming the mind, expanding lung capacity, or restructuring the spine.

âI find it the most freeing of meditative practices I’ve ever participated in⊠I’ve only recently returned to this ancient practice, however, over the past week, my oxygen levels have increased from 93 to 99, and at age 71, that is an added bonus.â
