The focus of this course will highlight the interconnectedness of neuroscience, both the neurofeedback and Deep Brain Reorienting, and ancestral ways of being.
Speaker:
Patricia Vickers, PhD is a First Nations psychotherapist, consultant and the former Clinical Director of Mental Health and Wellness for the province of British Columbia with the First Nations Health Authority. Dr. Vickers has developed, managed and facilitated trauma trainings to over 200 First Nations service providers in British Columbia and has been contracted with First Nations communities on the Northwest coast for over twenty-five years, gaining knowledge of interconnecting ancestral ways with psychotherapy. Dr. Vickers continues to speak internationally about the intersection of traditional ways of healing and neuro-psychotherapy.
