Exploring the Essential Features of “Pierre Sollier – Listening for Wellness – An Introduction to the Tomatis Method”
“Listening for Wellness” is an introduction to the work of Dr. Alfred Tomatis, who discovered that Listening (as opposed to hearing) is the key to Wellness. Listening problems are at the root of many learning and communication problems, and learning how to listen well greatly improves our abilities. It is a “must read” book for parents, teachers, psychologists and musicians. Even though the book is an in-depth presentation of the work of Dr. Tomatis, it is easy to read thanks to the many examples taken from the practice of the author.

BRAVO to Pierre Sollier
Sollier is an amazingly talented writer! I found myself fully immersed in his first hand experiences at The Tomatis Center. As if the subject matter of the Tomatis Method isn’t fascinating enough. Then to find this MASTERPIECE of a book, written with such grace and beauty, it was almost like a spiritual experience for me. If you are interested in the workings of sound therapy you simply must include this book in you studies.
Traveler
Book has nothing to do with healing music for disease or injury. It is about working with emotionally damaged problem children.
Listening for Wellness has nothing to do with listening to music for healing from disease or injury. It is a technical book about working with damaged children with dyslexia, ADD, autistic, delinquents, etc. It is useless for learning about healing music for health.
The book is misrepresented. Tomatis knew about healing music we can use in our everyday lives and to heal illness and injury, but this book by Sollier is not about music to improve your health.
I have asked the seller to accept it for return.
