Exploring the Essential Features of “Sensory SMART! Applying Sensory Processing Knowledge to Your Play Therapy Practice – Amy Nelson”
We are all sensory beings! Although, we do not all process sensation in the same way.
Understanding an individual’s unique sensory profile provides essential insights into how they perceive and respond to the world around them. Learn how to strategically support clients in a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming way, using play therapy to guide them through self-acceptance, self-determination, and self-advocacy.
This insightful workshop will unpack the often-mystifying concepts behind sensory processing differences and provide participants with practical methods and play therapy tools to support sensory needs in their practice with children and adolescents.
