Ian Bland talks about the new Logic Pro 10.5 updates, Logic’s biggest update since version 9. He touches on brand new features like Live Loop, Sampler and Remix FX. 

You will learn: 

• How to use Live Loop
• MIDI functions in Live Loop

Lessons: 

1. Introduction to Live Loop
Logic Pro introduced features such as Live Loops which can help speed up workflow. Ian introduces these features and shows us how to load audio samples into the looper. 

2. MIDI in Live Loop
MIDI effects and tools have had a massive upgrade, Ian shows us how you can make full use of Logic’s MIDI features by using a MIDI bass. 

3. Sampler 
Logic’s sampler hadn’t been updated since 2006, with the new 10.5, it has addressed all previous issues and become one of the most powerful samplers around.

4. Working in Arrangement View 
Recording an on-the-fly live arrangement from the live loop into Logic’s recognisable arrangement interface. 

5. Remix Effects & Logic Control 
A brand new effect unit added to the Logic library. This tool can be applied to your master or individual channels for a life style approach to remix effects. Ian talks about Logic Control which can be integrated onto an iPad.
